Wanted to share these fun bridals with you that I took in the Houston Heights area. Lets talk about some ways to make your bridal session fun and unique. Some girls are really scared to play in their wedding dress because they don’t want to get it dirty! That is understandable because I would not want to get it dirty either! It might have a few wrinkles in the end, but that can be steamed out. We do however want to capture you in your dress without you looking like a stiff statue. :) I would recommend bringing a sheet along with you so you can place it under you to sit on the ground (don’t be afraid to do this) or even on things that you would not think to sit on! Wear comfortable shoes. We will most likely not be taking pictures of your shoes this day so you can wear something comfortable that will be easy to walk around in. Don’t feel like you have to wear your hair up like you would on your wedding day! It is fun to have a relaxed picture of you in your dress and not something so stiff. Oh, flowers are nice to have so you can hold on to something. It is nice to have them and I recommend having your florist put one together for you. Finally, Have a strong drink if you are prone to being uncomfortable by yourself in a picture! Just making sure you were reading this! Only Kidding. Lets have fun!

OK, I JUST did a photo shoot of a bride in a flea market like this! Small world, eh? Great work, Brooke!

I LOVE your work! I totally dig the idea of taking the bride to a vintage shop. I’ve wanted to do that but couldn’t get the bride to go for it. After seeing these pics I think I’ll push a little harder next time:). I’d love for you to check out my blog and let me know what you think.
