this weekend we set out to the lake. stillhouse hollow is up in belton, texas and it is a beautiful limestone lake that you will never want to get out of. we have been going to this lake with my family for the past 24 years. i have been going since i was 4 years old but have not been in the last 4 years. it was fun going back again…and bringing stella was so much fun. i could not help but think about my childhood on the lake. there were many 4th’s spent at the lake too. i learned how to water ski, camp, and much more out there.

Brooke! LOVE the pics! I got a real sense of the trip from viewing them, felt like I was almost there! Adore the shots of Stella but I really love the one of you helping her w/ the fireworks - you should frame that one! Also love the one of your sister - if that was me and I looked that good I would frame that of myself! Happy 4th!

Looking at these amazing photos brought back some wonderful memories of trips to the lake with you guys. Brooke, remember us tubing, and me trying to water ski? I still have yet to master that. Looks like you had a great time and what an awesome tradition to carry on.
