thankful to capture love. thankful for 2010 weddings.

this past weekend paige and matt were married at the glassell school of art.  i have to say that this wedding was the perfect way to end the season. i just had to grab a couple for you to see before the holiday break.  also, be sure to check out their smilebooth photos.

personal note:  i will be out of the office from 11-22 to 11-28 for the thanksgiving holiday.  excited to rest and relax on a lake in north carolina.  thankful once again.

having a 5 year old scares me. maybe it's because i am getting older too.  stella came into the world screaming and passionate about life and she is still the same.  I am so glad to call her my daughter and to see her become this amazing little lady.  we had her 5th birthday this past weekend and it was so much fun.  she told josh that the one thing she wanted at her party was the smilebooth.  i think she took at least 12 photos by herself at the start of the party.  happy birthday my sweet baby girl.


  

amanda and bradley are just about the coolest people on earth.  i feel in love with their save the dates and the custom characters that were drawn up for them by a good friend of theirs.  the two wanted to incorporate all things amazing in their wedding and engagements!  here is a sneak of what we did since there were too many to choose from!

this weekend we are starting our fun holiday sessions!  we built a set and it has a wonderful feel to it!  i can't wait to get all of the kids in front of the camera. tomorrow we start shooting and i am excited.  yesterday we had a test shoot with beautiful stella and she was excited to throw confetti snow and pose on the set. we are hosting one more day of shooting and that is on friday, november 5th. see the original post for all the details.  email us to book your time slot...10, 11, 12, 3, and 4.

this has nothing to do with photography and everything to do with life. we are in the process of starting a home remodel and i can't wait.  josh and i love design and have had a great time working with our friend to help put all of our favorite ideas together.  It will be nice to have more room for our family of four.  these plans don't show the basic revisions that we will make to the exterior of our current heights home.  we are planning on painting the existing house white as well as making minor updates so it blends well with the new addition!  maybe a metal roof will look nice?
