vanessa and jim got married with their daughters by their side earlier this summer in santa fe.  they wanted to have family and friends celebrate with them here in houston so they put together the best backyard party at their home.  oh my! pocket pies food truck was there to start the party off right!  it was a perfect idea for a pre party snack.  congrats to vanessa and jim.

meet this little bruiser!  cannon was born in august and has such a sweet disposition.  he did great considering he was 6 weeks old. i shot his mom and dad's wedding back in the day so i guess you could call him a legacy? congrats to nicole and shawn!

i love these smilebooth photos!!  never under estimate people and their creative spirits.  the smilebooth was out in marfa, texas a couple of weekends ago at the anual trans-pecos festival at the oh so amazing el cosmico. i want to stay in the yurt next time i go to marfa.
