i was excited to visit san miguel de allende for a wedding and had some time to visit the town on saturday morning.  normally i do not feel the urge to pick up my camera before a wedding day but i knew that this was the only time i had to go out to explore.  i was in my own little world here. if you like to people watch this is the place to be!  the town was beautiful in itself and life seemed to be carefree yet busy with hard work and lots of play.  i was able to see a local wedding, kids playing, and a lot of people out and about getting the day started. the simple things in life were happening this day and it was beautiful!  i miss shooting for myself and i don't think i have done so for a long time.  minus the family vacations, i never really take time out to take photos for fun.  i think i will do it more often....or at least challenge myself to do so. 

forgive me for my lack of blogging lately.  sometimes it is just hard to find the time to blog. it may be a season that i am going through but i will try to snap out of the little attention that i spend here.  neha and mohit are having an indian wedding this month and it is going to be full of food, dancing and wonderful rituals.  i can't wait to capture all of the details and the love they share! here are just a few more shots from their engagment session that i wanted to share!

i will be out of the office from the 29th - 31st of may.  can't wait to shoot rachael and jason's wedding!  it is going to be beautiful. can't post without a picture! so, here is one that i love from an engagment session with neha and mohit!  they are a beautiful couple and their wedding is coming up this june!

sorry for the slow blogging these days.  i am nearing my summer time with stella so things are a big crazy when it comes to blogging.  not as easy but i will try harder!  i am thinking about getting some needed help around here soon!  i have my assistant who will be graduating shortly so i will need to look for the perfect person to fill her shoes....job description to follow soon! keep your eyes peeled!

summer is here and that means it is time to get bare foot and play outside!  not sure if i will be able to stand the summer heat for long periods of time....texas gets pretty hot! here are some of my favorites from the other night.  these two sure did have fun together in the tree swing.
