baby ian was in mommy's belly when i first met his mommy and sister.  i was excited to capture his first session at 3 months old.  he is a big boy!  here are some from the session.  mom is getting used to running around with her two little ones.  i loved our time together and seeing the love they all share.

this wedding was really sweet. very simple and beautiful.  they were married at second baptist church in houston and had their reception there too.  mandy's dad is a pastor there and it was really special to have him marry them.  mandy and adam are so sweet and lovely in love. i can't wait to see where thier life takes them.  here are some of my favorites from the day. enjoy!

yesterday i played hooky with stella and that was so fun!  we broke away from the normal routine of heading off to school (in a panic) and decided to chill and lay low.  i think maybe it may be due to her growing up so fast and me feeling that i need to breath deep in this moment. 
yesterday i realized how much i needed an updated pic.  i think it has been 8 months since i have taken a picture of myself.  it is really not easy when a camera is in front of your face all of the time.  i hope soon to get more than just a couple of shots but i managed to grab a few that i liked. 
after a make up session with the girls, we went out to take some photos.  stella loves taking pictures and it is funny because yesterday she grabbed my big camera and held it up in front of her face and whispered "just one picture, just one picture".  i was taken back because i did not know why she was saying that.  i soon realized that i do that when taking her picture.  normally she does not want to sit still when i put a camera in front of her! and I can't help but plead with her to take "just one picture". i know for sure that she took more than just one! 

what do your kids say when you take their picture!  it is pretty cute to hear them copy you.

i love my brides and grooms so much!  it really is a joy to be in their lives and see their love. it is an honor to have the chance to capture that as well.   i am especially attached to this sweet couple. patrick and kelley came to me less than one month ago about their wedding photography.  they were planning a wedding with an intimate group of family and friends in less than 5 weeks.  sweet! 

both of them were eager about their big day and making it perfect!  i think patrick took the place of the bride most of the time and kelley smiled beautifuly when listening to his grand ideas.  the wedding was beautiful and i was very excited when they wanted to see each other before the actual ceremony.  always my favorite choice because it helps with stress, time, and yeilds some amazing photos without taking away from the party. patrick was waiting on the rooftop for kelley and here are some shots that we grabbed. it was the most amazing view that i could not wait to share these with you! thanks lauren for taking us up there!

some other exciting news about this couple is that they will welcome a baby girl into the world shortly!  i am so thrilled for them and wish them the very best in their sweet life. 

rachael and jason are so adorable!  i was so excited when she came to meet with me about her upcoming wedding in san miguel de allende in may!  it will be simply beautiful and full of detail.  rachael is an event planner her in houston and i know that her attention to detail will be spectacular there!  we decided to meet up at a local plant store and restaurant where they frequent.  it was the perfect spot for them and had so many fun places to shoot.  here are a few of the favorites!
