happy birthday to my baby boy (yesterday).  can't believe that a year has already passed. stella and i picked up a baby cake at the dessert gallery and had a number one sparkler on top since he does not know how to blow out a candle.  he loved it and loved the cake part too!  leon even took his first official step yesterday.  my baby's getting big!  

Ruffled blog was quick to grab up Amanda and Bradley's handcrafted DIY wedding.  These two were married  with so many creative details that made there wedding celebration spectacular.  When I met with them back in 2010 we were giddy with what type of wedding they were putting together.  Bradley is a cyclist and Amanda has creative style that was sure to be found throughout the celebration.  I loved their spirits and the whimsy of the day.  Everything was planned out perfectly and most of the items from the wedding were handmade or bought on etsy!  My favorite part was the hand designed invitations that were custom designed by her bridesmaid Chelsea Windlinger.

i am utterly in love with BHLDN.  the fact is that i made all of my bridesmaids wear an anthropologie dress before they came out with a line because i could not come to terms with the boring solid colors that were offered at the time.

if you are a bride and getting married, i encourage you to look at these dresses!  i love all of these options and the best thing is that your friends will not hate you for buying a dress they can never wear again!  i also am in love with the wedding line and would be oh so happy to photograph a wedding outfited by BHLDN!
