I have had my studio in the Heights for 3+ years and it has served a purpose for meeting my clients and working out of. The only thing is that a 350sq ft studio becomes really small when your husband starts a new business and wants to move in! That being said, we have had to look for a new space.
I was looking for a perfect spot that was big enough to shoot, give us storage, meet clients and have a space that encourages creativity! All that said, we have found one! It is a 2300sq ft studio located right on the edge of downtown Houston. I am excited to have my hubby and another photographer come together and share the space too!
Is this something you may be looking for? We are now looking for another "creative" "clean" "professional" to share the space with.
If you are interested in talking about the possibilities, give me a shout via email. Attaching some pictures of the space. The two images below show some of our space. The whole building is professional, clean and has such a unique feeling. There are wonderful common areas that can be used for parties or events for no extra cost which is a huge plus! Can't wait to see where this takes us. Hoping to have the space ready by July 1st! :)

i never posted that i was heading to vegas for wppi (a large photographers convention) earlier this month. maybe its due to my pregnant self, or making sure i am caught up on all of my clients before the baby arrives in may, or maybe its because we were working really hard at preparing for an amazing week in vegas? lots of hard work went into wppi this year because we were there to throw a party (airhorns and lasers) and we all were very excited because smilebooth (you may know one of the products: queso) was on the trade show floor being sold this year.
great times were had with all of these fine folks... josh, jess and whit, marfa trip girls and boys, the mammoth men and women, the flash dance, max & margaux, our labor of love team, and the wonderful ashley who kept me laughing all week.
it was exciting to meet so many of you at the booth. here are a few shots jesse and i took on the final day. can't wait to show you all of the fun shots we got over those three days, those will be up soon on the site!

before i sign off, here is a video that still motion threw together from the party. they do amazing work and certainly captured the fun from the night and all the work that was put into it on the back end. want to see photos from the smilebooth that night? click here.
