linnea loves zac deeply and he loves her the same.  i got to spend an afternoon with these two as they made their way around downtown houston in love.  they are getting married in portland next year and can't wait to seal the deal with their friends and family by their side.  linnea works for the cost guard here in houston and zac works out in portland so being away from each other is difficult to say the least.  i love getting to capture special moments like these.

i was beyond happy to hear that michelle and haden were getting married. michelle is a currator at the menil and haden is an artist.  the two of them are having a wonderful wedding in october at the quaker house and then celebrating at an art gallery.  its going to be beyond creative with these two.

i've never been too keen on flying but have managed to get used to the process.  we left for atlanta over thanksgiving and i was walking with kids in tow when someone stopped me along the way.  she was in a pilot uniform and asked if my daughters name was stella...of course i wondered who this lovely stranger was!  she introduced herself and come to find out she is a client who i had not met yet and we had an engagement shoot set up for the following week. she said she hoped that i did not have to see her in her pilot uniform again and i laughed after i walked on board and saw her in the cockpit.  i had never known someone to fly my plane before!  i am really happy to get to know this couple and shoot their upcoming wedding.  another fun fact about these two is that they happened to meet while flying.  if you look closely, i caught a plane flying overhead in the sky shot.
