i love my brides and grooms so much!  it really is a joy to be in their lives and see their love. it is an honor to have the chance to capture that as well.   i am especially attached to this sweet couple. patrick and kelley came to me less than one month ago about their wedding photography.  they were planning a wedding with an intimate group of family and friends in less than 5 weeks.  sweet! 

both of them were eager about their big day and making it perfect!  i think patrick took the place of the bride most of the time and kelley smiled beautifuly when listening to his grand ideas.  the wedding was beautiful and i was very excited when they wanted to see each other before the actual ceremony.  always my favorite choice because it helps with stress, time, and yeilds some amazing photos without taking away from the party. patrick was waiting on the rooftop for kelley and here are some shots that we grabbed. it was the most amazing view that i could not wait to share these with you! thanks lauren for taking us up there!

some other exciting news about this couple is that they will welcome a baby girl into the world shortly!  i am so thrilled for them and wish them the very best in their sweet life. 

i think that bridals are really important down in the south!  i talk to a lot of other photographers in the east and west who find that no one else want bridal portraits taken before the wedding.  not here in houston!  i think that there is a good number of brides who want one...and then there are others that want a more trash the dress style of a portrait- or we can just capture you in your dress on your wedding day!  that is a given though :)  mandy was married last weekend so these are no surprise to the groom!  congrats on your marriage!  here were some from her session. 

jessica and bryan were married in nashville, tn in december and had a sweet wedding.  they wanted a limited number of guests and it made very intimate.  here are some shots from their day. i could not help but play around with the groomsmen.  i know it is a jumping shot but this one is funny!

if i get anything done today it will be this blog post!  i was so excited to hear that my bride scheduled to get married in houston had moved the wedding to nashville, tn.  i had never been and have always wanted to go check it out!  we started off the weekend with a shoot of jessica and bryan hanging out downtown.  here are a few shots from that day.  it was crazy to me how much nashville reminded me of austin, tx.  wedding images to come! first lets start off with this guy and his guitar.
