- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- detail oriented
- punctual
- transportation to/from the studio and other errands
- working knowledge of mac os x (leopard).  specifically mail, address book, calendar, and ftp (fetch)
- work experience with adobe photoshop, lightroom, and bridge

responsibilities for managing studio includes ...
- day to day managing of studio.  
- client inquiries / communication (both phone and email)
- scheduling photo shoots / photo booth events / client meetings
- manage documents / filing
- mailing of packages (both client/vendor) and other random errands
- ftp images to hosting companies
- working with vendors

I have had my studio in the Heights for 3+ years and it has served a purpose for meeting my clients and working out of.  The only thing is that a 350sq ft studio becomes really small when your husband starts a new business and wants to move in! That being said, we have had to look for a new space.

I was looking for a perfect spot that was big enough to shoot, give us storage, meet clients and have a space that encourages creativity!  All that said, we have found one!  It is a 2300sq ft studio located right on the edge of downtown Houston.   I am excited to have my hubby and another photographer come together and share the space too!

I am excited to share a fun write up about our photo booth, QUESO.  You may have had the chance to stick yourself in front of it a couple of times this year.   Modern Brides Magazine who also publishes Houston Magazine just released their newest issue and there is a fun write up in there.  I love my quotes in there too, so deep!  You will also find Elizabeth and Ben's wedding that we shot back in October on page 94/95. Excited to have a 4 page feature in The Knot Texas magazine!  We shot Danielle and Sam's wedding last year out in Washington Texas and it was so fun and special that it was chosen as one of the 20 unique texas weddings. Check out this historic wedding below.

I was excited that Emily at Once Wed was a sucker for Kim and Zak's wedding and we were thrilled to have it featured on her blog!  You must read the blog post here  - Kim had a wonderful description of what inspired her wedding decor and day.  This DIY wedding was completely unique to the couple and that's inspiring.
