i have never been one to get into the halloween spirit.  i can never decide what i want to be!  that is the main issue.  today i almost forgot that it was halloween.  i was thinking it was a crazy day when i walked into my neighborhood coffee shop.  was it april fools? note:  our coffee shop is a crazy place and they love life and being creative.  of course they would want to do something for halloween.  today i drove up before a session (why i had my camera) and i noticed that antidote (the coffee shop) decided to become starbucks today.  keep in mind that i did not remember that it was halloween.  i went in to order and there was starbucks everywhere!  they even had a nice christmas tune playing in the background.  i soon realize that it was their halloween costume.  halloween may be the best idea after all!  next year i will have to be something really fun.  maybe even make my own costume! 

i love getting away for a while. it is necessary that i get away to relax and not work so much.  we got to get away for a couple of days last week with our family and good friends.  josh and i fell in love in west texas so whenever we go there we always enjoy it!  we had fun with the kids and it was a nice break.  here are somethings that i enjoyed during this trip: playing in the leaves, walking on the ranch land, dairy queen before dinner, fires at night, the choo choo train, friends, naps, wide open spaces, realizing that i miss writing letters, art, bike rides and pizza!

we recently purchase two pairs of tom's shoes.  one is for me and the other for stella.  are these not the most adorable shoes ever! and they go for a wonderful cause.  every pair you purchase, tom's will give a pair to a child in need! check them out! i love all of the tiny tom's. stella is sporting the red ones.  they are too fun and she loves them!
