Leah said: I loooved that wedding! I am trying to get my sister to do printed bridesmaid dresses, and this is going to be her inspiration (she just doesn't know it yet). Oh well, sometimes sisters just know best! I am so so glad your blog is back, you were high up there on my list of favourites to visit; I was so sad when I couldn't see it anymore. Welcome back into my life!!!!!!! Haha. Leah - www.fiveblondes.com (09.23.08 @ 06:35 AM)

we had an eventful weekend.  no plans were made on saturday so josh and i decided to make breakfast and lay low.  maybe walk to the coffee shop to grab a cup of coffee.  we were almost ready when i heard stella scream.  i knew something was wrong so i ran in the kitchen.  she was running to me with her hand out and blood was just about to gush out.  i could not really make out what she had cut but i grabbed the towel and told josh to get ready to go to the ER because i knew it was bad. we got dressed and raced to the ER.  they were going to need to give her drugs to put her under to stitch her finger up.  we had to wait for 6 hours until we could do so because we just finished eating and they can't do it after food and drink.  we survived and everything went well with the stitching up and cleaning of the cut.  stella did a great job and was so brave.  she woke up with a big bandage on her little hand and actually likes it.  she is a great little patient.  she even loved wearing the hospital gown and had to take it home with us and wear it to bed.  i am even more thankful for stella's health.
