i can't believe that its here.  it seems that this year was all too fleeting once again.  i have had the best time with my family and life.  enjoying them and where we are in this phase.  we have gone on many adventures this year and i can say that it has been really good.  i have so many images to go through and its hard when you have thousands of images to go through before you can go through your own.  here is one of leon walking through the land in marfa.  he loves this place and it makes me happy.

when josh tells me that i take really good iphone photos it makes me wonder if i should put down my professional camera. sigh...i guess i should start offering iphone sessions.
this past weekend we went to the blanco river and stayed at our friends house which was pure bliss.  we took a trip for my cousins wedding and i guess you can say i was their iphoneographer.:)

Rachael said: totally agree with your previous commenter - in the end, it's not about the camera (or iphone) that you use, it's about the skill of the person behind it! x (09.27.11 @ 05:39 PM)

i have been in love with north carolina (the mountains)  for quite some time now.  i spent two summers guiding in these mountains and something about being back here makes me feel right at home.  the four of us packed up the car and drove up through tennessee  to see the great grandparents and then over to lake nantahala and spent the week fishing, boating, and plain ole relaxing.  i may want to move back someday or at least for the summer.  i dream of a cabin where my kids can run wild and grow their own veggies.  i think i will start planning.
all of these images were taking with my iphone that happened to fall in a waterfall at the end of my trip.  please back up your images!

I just love this, I really could go on and on haha. Great, great work!! - Chandler (10.07.11 @ 05:52 AM)

it is always refreshing to drop everything on a whim and go visit your grandma a.k.a. nana. it was so hot today and we were itching to get out of houston even if it was for a couple of hours.  i love my nana and i had fun taking leon and stella out there together. it was leons first trip and he was happy to be outside and see cows and mud. stella loves hanging out with her nanny and she was happy to pick blue bells for her.  so many wonderful memories were had here and i am glad that my kids get to experience it too. i hope you all have a wonderful 4th of july!   farmblog2c.jpg
