mr. leon told me he was sad that he did not get to show you the tour with miss stella so i told him he could take us on the upstairs tour. he is just one month shy of learning to walk so he is on the go! i am learning quickly that boys will be boys! boys = destructive and into everything dirty and dangerous.  leon certainly is proving his boyhood. i really fear when we are done with the addition and he takes to the stairs by himself.  i guess an ugly baby gate needs to be purchased.  unless you know of a good looking baby gate out there?

It's the deco gate via Babies r Us... http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4322416&prodFindSrc=search (07.06.11 @ 11:38 AM)
andrea said: We like our baby gates - made by KidCo - I think it's their Metro line, but I'm not sure. Comes in white, black or aluminum metals (that are heat-resistant in case you need to put in front of a fire place) and can support more than the weight of a child hanging on them (not that I know this from experience with my boy...oh wait, yes I do!) They are great because you can buy the number of sections you need or do a pressure-mount one and either way, you can pop them on and off pretty easily if you want to remove them for a party, etc. Website is: http://kidcosafety.com Hope that helps!
