blogging these days has been the last thing on my mind and it's so hard to add it to my list of things to do even though i enjoy creating them. i also like that you stop by to see what's going on! seems like my list piles up more during this time of year due to the holiday season but i've got to start somewhere. back in october i photographed my friend kelly's family. i love getting to shoot families, especially ones that i get to photograph every year. clothes have been passed down, teeth may have come out, and they love each other more than the last. it's pure joy.

when putting together this birth announcement i was inspired by my friend james and how she does her "what we wore" posts. i thought this would look perfect for a baby birth announcement since you have so much information that you want to share with everyone. i also wanted to avoid the standard announcements that get lost in the mix i also incorporated the big's in the card too. they sure do love their new sister.

i am so excited to finally get to meet baby louise. she is a distant cousin to my kids so that is really fun. long story is that i went to elementary school with her dad and aunt before even knowing my husband. she was a cutie and took a beating from leon when we were shooting. it did not seem to phase her.
