life has been rather crazy these last couple of weeks. i was in vegas, then austin, and back to houston...sometimes life never stops! i wish that i could hug stella more or cuddle up in my pjs to a good movie with josh. this blog post reminds me of the sweetness of life. remember to cherish your babies and the fact that we are alive! i am so greatful for this family! this past year they have gone through a lot! mainly with georgia, she had a tumor and they had to go through the painful process of removing it and testing. now she is very close to being a survivor! i am so happy and greatful that they are in this stage! georgia is one cute/crazy kid! and now she has a little brother!

i had the best time shooting with some girls in vegas last week. this year it was nice to go to wppi and not come back drained and tired. instead, it was refreshing and fun! from the moment that i got to vegas, i was focused on having fun, making friends, and scouting out new goodies for my business. here are some photos that i took in downtown las vegas. if you have never been down there it is worth the $20 cab ride. it is a breath of fresh air compaired to the vegas strip. you can actually eat lunch for under $10 bucks. :)
here are some of my favorite shots from the shoot. i was so happy that eliesa from photogen-inc got her group together to shoot. thanks cadence and eli for letting us photograph your beautiful faces. it was also nice to have some girl time with my new and old friends: eliesa of photogen inc., sarah rhoads, laura kay, melissa louise, and danielle of mind castle studios.

these little baby sessions are so much fun these days. meet baby e. he was born in december and is a big boy! i had fun capturing his new family. today i have been thinking about life and how precious it is. the news of the plane crash was not easy to think about. all those lives lost....makes me think how lucky i am and how short life is. hug your loved ones tight.

This photos are really beautiful! I especially love the black and white ones, but the very subtle use of color in the others is wonderfully as well. Very classic-looking.
