i love photographing different stages in life, this one in particular...the famous teenage years.  i remember those days pretty clearly and it was a time that i may NOT have chosen to take my picture often. :)  morgan was beautiful and incredibly easy to photography.  she sure was a sport in the cold rain.  her Bat Mitzvah this month and I am excited to photograph that stage in her life. congrats morgan.

my sister and brother in law have been here in houston for the holidays and  i got the chance to meet my nephew for the first time.  can i say that i am in love with this child.. he is yummy and so fun to be around. getting him to chuckle is about the funniest thing and you often find him smiling at you if you make a funny face.

for christmas i received a 35mm 1.4 lens so it was necessary to find a model to play with.  it certainly helped me capture some fun ones.


he loves his mommy. blue eyes are bright. cousins - stella loves playing with owen and she insisted that she take a photo with him too! i love this shot below. crazy face.

forgive my lack of blogging.  things have been really busy this season so i have little time to blog during the day.  my computer shuts down a 3 pm everyday and i am missing my editing at night.  but, it helps me spend time with family! 

speaking of family, here is one family session that we had fun shooting in austin, texas.  it has been a joy capturing this family for the past three years.  caymus is getting so big!

Meet Pilar Rose.  She is such a sweet baby and was a pleasure to photograph because she did not even make one peep! We are good friends with her family, so we have been awaiting her arrival for quite some time!  Her big brother Felix was excited to have a couple of pics with her as well.  Congrats on your newest addition! 

All of my life has been spent in the south and little does it snow here.  I can only recall a couple of times that snow actually stuck.  Today has been beautiful and we have had fun playing in it.  I have a child who is like me and would rather be sitting on the couch curled up with a nice cup of hot coco but I managed to get her to put on what winter clothes she had and play with me for a bit!  I love some of these shots too. Hope that you feel a glimmer of the Holiday season!
