i felt honored to be asked by allison to photograph her family! i was going to capture the birth of her youngest but she had her in a matter minutes after arriving to the delivery room! since her birth we have been talking about coming to her house to capture a "lifestyle" session of her with her girls! allison is a photographer in the woodlands so i felt honored that she wanted me to document this time in their lives. it is always hard being a photographer because you really think that you can manage to take your own photos of your kids, when it is a hard thing to do! you can't really do it and be in the photo! I have a handful of pictures of me and my family! it is a sad thing that we need to take more time to do! i am so glad that allison wanted to capture herself with the girls. next year they will look different, say different things, grow out of that cute little outfit you bought them, and you may look different after all of those late night feedings.

love these photos, of course!!! Did you know that I am expecting in Dec.? I just may be calling on you. Loved looking at all your Marfa pics. Seems like a cool trip. I lived in West Texas for over 4 years and never experienced it like it seems you guys did.

Brooke, thank you again. I love that you captured my baby's two bottom teeth because she already has 4 more teeth on top! And, of course, I will always remember my big girl's terrible two "I'm gonna kick the photographer-splash bubbles at her camera-and basically act like an idiot" stage because you even captured that beautifully:) I adore the bubble bath pictures! And, the nursing images are perfectly real life & I will cherish them forever. Awesome job!

i really love being able to capture little moments that sisters will remember forever. i have a photo of me when i was around 2.5 sharing a cookie with my sister and those photos are cherished forever! i know that 2.5 year olds and infants are not always easy to capture so when it is captured it is nice to have! here are some of little sister and big sister that i love. it was also nice to have mom and dad there to have in some of the shots.

i have been drooling over this family session for quite some time. finally getting them ready to blog. this little family is so cute and stylish! both mom and dad are talented artists. we started off at their home which was nice because they live on my street! i was excited to hear that they wanted to take some shots at the local coffee house down the street! it is more like a second home where we all get our coffee fixes! it was fun to capture them while anne's mom was in town for spring break! their little family is too cute and their daughter islay is a ham and just like her mommy! we had fun at the park playing and laughing and almost injuring ourselves for some fun shots! here are my favorites!

From my own experience, I know how hard it is to take "family photos" so they won't appear dull to the outsider (of the family)
And here you have a full set, that for me, as a total stranger, I had a great time watching these photos.
Splendid job!
